Community Involvement

Team and Family:

At Meeting Street Elementary @Brentwood, we refer to our community as a “Team & Family.” We strive to include parents, family members and the community in school culture. Monthly parent events, parent volunteers, home visits, and weekly newsletters are just some of the ways we encourage parents to get involved with their children’s education and the community at MSE @Brentwood.

Community Celebration:

Community Celebration takes place every Friday for the Lower School (PreK 3- 1st Grade) in the Cafeteria from 2:50- 3:30pm. Community Celebration for the Upper School (2nd Grade - 5th Grade) takes place every other Friday in the Gym from 2:45- 3:30 pm.  It is a time for family members, students, and team members to celebrate our students’ hard work for the week. We recognize individual students who performed well during the week and encourage school spirit through chants and songs.

Our Community Commitments:

"We Work hard. We are nice. We are honest. We are helpful. We take care of ourselves and others. We are brave.”
